## About INC-5

The fifth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-5) to establish a legally binding global treaty on plastic pollution, including marine environments, was held from 25 November to 1 December 2024 at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center in Busan, Republic of Korea.To support the INC process, the World Economic Forum and its Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP) hosted and participated in diverse in-person events and side sessions in Busan, offering insights and fostering multistakeholder dialogue before and during the official negotiations.
