The Hoja de Ruta de Financiamiento para la Circularidad de los Plásticos en la Ciudad de México - Resumen ejecutivo assesses the country’s financing landscape across the plastic value chain, estimating the investment required to achieve city-level targets for reducing plastic pollution by 2040. Building on the Mexico City Action Roadmap, this roadmap uses a system-change approach. The analysis identifies financing needs and gaps across upstream and downstream interventions and sets out priority financing mechanisms, policy levers, and investment pathways to mobilize capital for a circular plastics economy.
